A SOFTER ARCHITECTURE

A room in the shade.
A moment under the sky.

From a quiet terrace to an open-air dining space, change the cover to suit the moment.

R-WEAVE’s motorised fabric roof retracts within its aluminium structure. Open it for more sky and daylight, or extend the canopy for sheltered shade. When fully extended, the upper fabric and integrated gutters work together to manage rainwater.

DESIGN NOTE

R-WEAVE retracts its fabric canopy. R-BLADE rotates its aluminium louvres, which remain overhead.

THE ROOF, CONSIDERED

Protection above.
Texture beneath.

01

The upper fabric

The waterproof upper layer provides the canopy’s weather protection. Integrated drainage directs rainwater through the structure.

02

The optional wavy fabric

A decorative lower textile softens the view from beneath the roof. Specify this separately from the upper weather-protection layer.

Fabric colours, samples and the final roof build-up are confirmed for your project.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Your questions,
considered.

Does the fabric roof fully retract?

Yes. Azenco describes R-WEAVE’s fabric canopy as fully retractable. The fabric gathers within the pergola structure to open the roof area; the aluminium frame remains in place.

How is it different from R-BLADE?

R-WEAVE uses a retractable fabric canopy for a softer overhead finish and open-sky experience. R-BLADE uses aluminium louvres that rotate to adjust light and airflow, remaining overhead when open. We can help compare the systems for your space and site conditions.

Can it provide rain protection?

The waterproof upper fabric and integrated drainage are designed to provide rain protection when the canopy is fully extended. Confirm operating limits and drainage arrangements for the selected configuration. This is an open-sided outdoor structure.

Is the wavy lower fabric included?

The decorative lower fabric is optional. It is separate from the upper weather-protection layer. Your quotation will identify the selected fabric build-up, colours and accessories.

What needs checking for a Cayman installation?

We’ll discuss the location, exposure, dimensions, fixings, foundations, drainage and power supply. Request current manufacturer wind limits and storm operating instructions for your configuration, along with any required local approvals.

What affects the quotation?

Dimensions, number of zones, frame and fabric selections, accessories, foundations, electrical work, shipping, duty and installation conditions all affect the project cost. Share approximate dimensions or photos to start the conversation.

What about fabric care and warranty?

Request the current manufacturer cleaning and maintenance instructions and written warranty terms before ordering. Confirm the cover and exclusions applicable to the fabric, frame, motor and accessories supplied for your project.
